Section 504 is a Federal Civil Rights Rehabilitation Act, which prohibits discrimination against persons with a disability in any program receiving federal financial assistance.

The Act defines a person with a disability as anyone who has a mental or physical impairment which substantially limits one or more major life activities. The Crofton Community Schools Board of Education designates the following individual to serve as Crofton Community Schools 504 Coordinator for students and staff:
